Create unlimited wash membership plans

Set up wash club plans that renew automatically: price, billing interval, which washes are covered, family and fleet plans, and how renewals are charged.

By Onboarding Desk · Updated

Short answer: create a product for each club tier, mark it as a subscription with a monthly interval, link it to the washes it covers, and sell it like any other product. The first sale starts the membership; renewals follow on their own.

Steps

  1. Add a product for each club tier, for example “Deluxe club (monthly)”, with the monthly price and tax.
  2. Set it up as a subscription: interval of one month (or the interval you sell), and no end date unless you sell fixed-term plans.
  3. Note in the product description which washes the plan covers; at the gate, a member’s visit is logged against their plan at no charge.
  4. For a family plan, create a second product for “Additional car” at your add-on price and sell it alongside the main plan.
  5. For a fleet plan, sell the plan to the fleet customer’s account so it is billed on their terms.
  6. Mark club products as for sale online if customers can join from your store.

Selling the first membership

At the pay station, search or create the customer, add the vehicle and plate, sell the club product and take the first payment by card through your processor. The renewal date is set from today.

Questions about this step

How are members charged each month?

Each membership is a subscription with an interval. On the renewal date the POS creates the invoice and the card on file is charged through your payment processor.

Can a member pause the club?

Yes. Staff can pause or cancel a membership from the customer screen; renewals stop until it is resumed.

What is a family plan?

A plan that covers several vehicles for one paying customer, with a price for each additional car.
