Setup questions
How long does car wash POS setup take?
About 30 minutes of hands-on time for one site with a normal menu: account, location, menu and club plans, store and the first sale. Importing a large member list adds time, and the onboarding desk does that for you free.
Do I need to install anything?
No. GetCarWashPOS is hosted for you and runs in a web browser on a PC, Mac, tablet or phone. Receipt printers and cash drawers are connected to the device you sell on.
Can someone set it up for me?
Yes. The onboarding desk for your country can set up the menu, club plans and imports with you on a call, in English, Spanish, Arabic or Urdu.
When does the online store appear?
As soon as you have products marked for online sale. There is nothing to design; it uses your catalogue, prices and photos.
What do I need before I start?
Your wash menu with prices, your club plans if you run one, your tax rate, and the devices you will sell on. A spreadsheet of members and fleets if you are switching.
Can I test without affecting real sales?
Yes. During the trial you can make test sales and refunds, then clear them or start the live day with an opening-cash count.
How do card payments get connected?
Card payments run through the processor you choose. During setup we show which processors and readers work in your country and connect the one you pick.
What happens after the trial?
Choose Bay, Tunnel or Network and add a payment method. Your setup, products and members stay exactly as they are. Do nothing and the account pauses, with data kept for 30 days.
