Unlimited car wash membership software that bills itself

Sell monthly wash clubs at the pay station or online, let the renewals run on schedule, and see who is active, past due or about to cancel — by plate, by plan and by site.

Unlimited wash memberships: the short answer

Unlimited car wash membership software sells monthly wash plans, stores each member's vehicle and plate, creates the recurring charge on a fixed schedule and tells the attendant at the gate whether a car is an active member. In GetCarWashPOS the club runs on the subscription engine, and cards are charged through your payment processor.

Why the pay station is the best place to sell the club

Most clubs are sold in the ten seconds after a driver hears the single-wash price. The pay station shows today's wash next to the club price for the same tier, so the attendant only has to say one sentence.

  1. 1Price of today's wash and the monthly club side by side
  2. 2Join in one step: plate, phone, card
  3. 3First month starts today; the car goes straight through

How unlimited wash memberships works, step by step

The same order the software asks for it.

  1. Step 1

    Build your club plans

Name each tier, set the monthly price, which washes and add-ons it covers and how often it renews. Add a family plan with a price per extra car.

  2. Step 2

Sign members up where they are

At the pay station in under a minute, or online through your auto-generated store. The plate and vehicle are saved with the member.

  3. Step 3

    Recognise them at the gate

Your LPR camera sends the plate read; the POS answers active, past due or not a member. Without LPR, search by plate or phone at the pay station.

  4. Step 4

    Renewals run on schedule

Recurring invoices are created on the renewal date and charged to the card on file through your processor. Failed charges show as past due.

  5. Step 5

    Watch retention

Active members, joins, cancellations and revenue per plan, per site — the numbers that decide whether the club is growing.

What it won't do (so you can plan for it)

  • Card-on-file charging, retries and dunning emails depend on the payment processor or gateway you connect.
  • The licence-plate camera and recognition service come from a third-party vendor; the POS reads its results through an integration.
  • Laws on automatic renewals differ by state and country; your sign-up terms and cancellation process are your responsibility.

Unlimited wash memberships: questions

What is an unlimited car wash membership?

It is a monthly subscription that lets one car wash as often as it likes for a fixed price. The wash identifies the member car by its licence plate, a windshield tag or a phone number, and charges the card on file each month.

How does the POS charge members every month?

Each membership is a subscription with a renewal date. On that date the POS creates the invoice and the card on file is charged through your payment processor. If the charge fails, the member shows as past due at the gate and on the dashboard.

Can members use any of my locations?

Yes on the Network plan: a member is a customer of the business, not of one site, so the plate check works at every location you add. On the Tunnel plan the club runs at that one location.

Do I need a licence-plate camera to run a club?

No. You can identify members by plate typed at the pay station, by phone number or by a sticker number. LPR makes the gate faster and can be added later through an integration.

Can a member pause or cancel?

Yes. Staff can pause or cancel a membership from the customer screen; a cancelled plan stops creating renewals and the car stops being recognised as a member after the paid period ends.

How do family plans work?

A family plan links several vehicles to one paying member. You set the price of the first car and of each additional car, and every linked plate is recognised as a member.

Can I sell memberships online?

Yes. Club plans are products in your catalogue, so they appear in the online store that is generated from your menu. Customers can join from their phone and drive straight in.

Which plan includes memberships?

Memberships are included in Tunnel ($89/mo per location) and Network ($129/mo per site). Bay is for detail shops and washes without a club.

Can I import members from my current system?

Yes. Export members, plates and plan names to a spreadsheet and our onboarding desk imports them for free. Card details cannot be exported from most processors, so members re-enter their card at the next visit or through a link.
