Who we are
GetCarWashPOS (“we”, “us”) provides hosted point-of-sale software for car washes and detail shops in the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. For data we collect through this website and to run our own business, we are the controller. For data our customers (car washes) store in the software about their own customers, the car wash is the controller and we act as their processor.

What we collect
When you fill in a form: your name, business name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, country, the type of wash, number of locations, what you need, your preferred channel and your message.
Automatically, with your consent where required: pages visited, referring site, campaign parameters (such as utm_source), approximate location from IP address, device and browser type. Analytics run only after you accept analytics cookies.
In the software (as processor for car washes): business records the car wash enters, such as customers, vehicles and licence plates, memberships, sales, staff and fleets. Card numbers are handled by the car wash’s payment processor and never stored by us.
How we use it
To answer your request and arrange demos (performance of a contract or steps before one).
To provide, secure, back up and support the hosted service (contract).
To understand how the website is used and improve it (consent for analytics).
To send occasional service or product updates to customers (legitimate interest; you can opt out any time).
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on contractual safeguards with those providers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
Customer account data: for the life of the account, then exportable for a limited period after cancellation (see the pricing page) and deleted from live systems afterwards; backups age out on their normal cycle.
Accounting records: as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent.
California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share). UAE residents have rights under the Personal Data Protection Law. Pakistan residents may contact us about their data at any time.

Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, role permissions in the software, and nightly backups. No method is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you suspect a problem.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new date. Material changes affecting customers will also be sent by email.
