How do I switch car wash POS systems without losing members?
Export members, plates and plan details from the old system, import them into GetCarWashPOS (we do it free), run both side by side for a few days, and collect new card details as members visit. Members never lose their plan; only the card on file needs re-entering.
Is the import really free?
Yes. The onboarding desk imports customers, plates, members, products and fleets free during your trial and the first month.
Why can't saved cards move?
Card numbers are held by your payment processor or gateway under card-industry security rules, and most processors will not export them. Members add their card again at the next visit or through a link.
Can I switch from DRB, Washify or Sonny's?
Yes. Any system that exports customers, members and products to a spreadsheet can be imported. Tunnel-controller connections need planning; ask on your demo.
Can I switch from Square or Clover?
Yes, by CSV export of items and customers. You will choose a card processor for GetCarWashPOS.
Will there be downtime?
No. Run both systems side by side until you are confident, then switch the remaining registers.
What does switching cost?
Nothing beyond your plan. There is no setup fee for the POS and imports are free.
Can I leave GetCarWashPOS later?
Yes. Export your data any time, and for 30 days after you cancel.
