Add a location, registers and staff

Set up your wash site in the POS: address for receipts, registers or pay stations, receipt printer and staff logins with PINs.

By Onboarding Desk · Updated

Short answer: in Settings, add a business location with the address that should print on receipts, then add each register (pay station or tablet), connect a receipt printer if you use one, and create staff users with roles.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Business locations and open the first location created with your account. Fill in the address, phone and the name customers know the site by.
  2. Under Invoice / receipt layout, choose what prints: logo, address, tax number (for example your UAE TRN), and the footer line.
  3. Add registers: one for the pay station, one for any lane tablet. Name them so reports are clear (“Pay station”, “Lane tablet”).
  4. If you use a receipt printer, set the printing option for the location. Browser printing works with most 80 mm thermal printers.
  5. Go to Users and add managers with a login, and crew with a role and a service-staff PIN.
  6. Give each role only what it needs: attendants sell, managers refund and discount, owners see everything.

Good to know

  • Each location can have its own receipt language, tax settings and prices (through price groups).
  • On the Network plan, customers, members and fleets are shared across locations.

Questions about this step

How many registers can I add?

Your plan includes registers per location (two on Bay, four on Tunnel and Network). You can add more at the extra-register price.

What is the difference between a login and a PIN?

A login (email or username and password) is for people who manage the account. A service-staff PIN lets crew switch quickly on a shared register so each sale is credited to them.

Can I use a tablet in the lane as a register?

Yes. Any device with a browser can be a register; give it its own register name so its cash and sales are reported separately.
